WEST
The far western end of Crete is dominated by the high desert called the Lefka Ori. The capital of the far west is the lovely bustling town of Xania dominated by the Venetian port and layers of fascinating history.
In the west you can find citrus groves, olive groves, inland sweet water lakes, alpine scenery, dozens of gorges and high mountain plateaux, wild and inaccessible mountains, pristine deserted coastlines, and many interesting historical villages. In a few words it is a great places to explore on foot.

EAST CRETE
The far eastern end of the island is more arid. The landscapes are more desert like but there is still a wildness and a beauty that is echoed in the colour of the sea and the sky, miles of pristine sandy beaches, deep and atmospheric gorges, and plenty of white housed villages.
There are less people and more farms in the far eastern end of the island. The countryside is dominated by olive groves, and there are many vineyards and even the odd banana plantation. We propose in 2023, 3 different tours listed below :
